Benefits:

San Diego Sheriff's Deputies enjoy tremendous benefits, including flexible work schedules and generous vacation pay benefits. You will enjoy a generous benefit package offered by the County of San Diego.

Health Insurance	County paid and employee paid
Sick Leave	13 days per year, unlimited accumulation
Vacation	10 days after the first year 15 days after five years 20 days after fifteen years
Holidays	13 paid days per year
Retirement	**After 10 years (3%@50) No maximum, you can retire @ 100%
Life Insurance	At no cost to employee
Overtime	Paid at time and a half
Uniform Allowance	$450.00 initially; $725.00 after one year service
	*After working for the Department for 10 years you are eligible to collect 3% of your pay for every year you worked when you turn 50 years old.
