Candidate Aggregation Strategy
We work with job candidates who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life and veterans who have the outstanding characteristics of military personnel coupled with years of relevant business experience.
Our
candidate aggregation strategy brings a steady flow of job-ready men and women to our database. The strategy involves the following elements:
Branch-Specific Sites
Besides our company-named Website, www.recruitmilitary.com, we maintain four branch-specific sites:
We set up the four sites to appeal to the affinity that job candidates have for their particular branches. All of the candidate registration profiles and resumes posted on the branch sites are accessible to subscribers to the database at www.recruitmilitary.com.
Print Incoming!
In 2003, we launched a free, print version of Incoming!, one of our online newsletters for job candidates. We designed print Incoming! to attract men and women who are transitioning out of the military and to encourage them to register at our sites. Incoming! contains job listings, articles about obtaining civilian employment, and information about our company. We distribute more than 52,000 copies of print Incoming! through transition offices at over 210 military bases. Base transition counselors distribute Incoming! to their classes or make it available in a resource area.
Area Marketing Representatives
A network of representatives at various military bases reinforce our relationships with base transition counselors, distribute our print Incoming! newsletter, post our advertising materials in key locales, and speak to small groups of transitioning personnel about the benefits of registering at our branch-specific Web sites.
Base Transition Counselors
In setting up a distribution network for our print Incoming! newsletter, we established excellent relationships with transition counselors at military bases throughout the world. Many of the counselors help us by distributing our hand-out cards and displaying our posters, and they send e-mail messages to their candidates when we announce jobs that are available in their areas.
Web Links and Partnerships
We have established Web links with numerous private and government Web sites that serve veterans, and we have formed partnerships with private sites. Links to our site mention us as a job-finding resource for the veteran community.
Base Visits
Members of our staff regularly visit military bases to conduct classes for transitioning personnel on a variety of subjects related to civilian employment. We also interview candidates during our visits and encourage the candidates to register at our sites.
Newspaper Articles
Business reporters often mention RecruitMilitary in articles on veteran employment, and they frequently interview our company president to obtain authoritative information of interest to both employers and job candidates.
Print Adversiting
Ads in newspapers that are circulated on and near military bases announce the times and places of our career fairs. These ads attract candidates not only to the fairs themselves but also to www.recruitmilitary.com.
Job Fairs
We produce career fairs throughout the United States at venues that are near major military bases and large concentrations of veterans. We have scheduled more than 30 such events for 2007.
Keyword Purchases
We buy keywords on major search engines to increase the traffic on our Websites. Job candidates who use a variety of military-related and veteran-related search terms can readily find our sites.
Live Job Feeds
We make live job listings available for free to operators of military-related Web sites. Our feed displays job descriptions inside a frame that resides on their sites. When we update an individual job listing, that listing changes simultaneously on all feeds. To install a RecruitMilitary live job feed, all a Webmaster has to do is copy and paste a line of code.
Outdoor Advertising
Outdoor ads strategically located in major military venues invite job candidates who have a military background to register at www.recruitmilitary.com.
