Each CCA facility has an elite squad of correctional officers, who, after extensive training and qualification, are part of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT). SORT teams are highly trained groups charged with providing a coordinated, systematic response to ensure high-risk incidents are brought to the safest possible conclusion.
